Amidst April's fragrant blossoms, Xiamen University's College of Foreign Languages and Cultures (CFLC) marked its centenary on April 8th at the Science and Art Center. President Zhang Zongyi and esteemed guests convened to celebrate CFLC's century of excellence and inaugurate a new chapter of growth.
Dean Chen Jing delivered a report titled "A Century Retrospect: Setting Sail Towards the Future," highlighting CFLC's journey and vision. The event also saw the establishment of the Xiamen University Center for Cultural Exchange and Mutual Learning, with agreements signed. The unveiling ceremony featured Director Yu Yunquan, Deputy Minister Chen Qincan, Executive Deputy Director Huang Feng, and Dean Chen Jing.
To honor CFLC's centenary, a series of events will follow, including academic forums, an art gala, alumni forums, student-teacher exchanges, and the "Centennial Cup" football match.
