On November 23rd, the University of Xiamen's Center for Exchanges and Mutual Learning among Civilizations hosted a lecture titled "Navigating Overseas Communication Routes for Chinese Narratives," featuring Mr. Ke Rongyi, Director of the China Daily New Media Center and Member of the 10th Council of China Writers Association. The discussion, moderated by CFLC's Vice Dean Professor Liu Yue, aimed to explore adapting to evolving communication trends and promoting Chinese storytelling abroad.
Professor Liu warmly welcomed Mr. Ke, highlighting the center's commitment to the "Global Civilization Initiative" for regional studies and international communication. Mr. Ke addressed the significance of social media in expanding coverage and fostering innovative communication formats and content.
Mr. Ke shared experiences from the China Daily New Media Center on promoting Chinese narratives overseas, emphasizing the use of familiar language and video formats to engage international audiences effectively.
